Our client, a parts manufacturer and reseller based in Manchester, is looking to strengthen their Finance function with an FP&A Finance Business Partner on a 6-month full-time contract. This is an exciting opportunity to join a business experiencing significant positive change, with a strong finance team and newly appointed staff. The Role Reporting directly to the Group Finance Director, you will act as a finance business partner to operational, sales, and supply chain teams. You will provide commercial insight, drive forecasting and budgeting processes, and support decision-making by translating financial performance into actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities Act as a finance business partner to operations, sales, and supply chain teams, providing insight and recommendations. Prepare budgets, forecasts, and long-range planning models. Analyse sales, margins, and operating costs to identify opportunities and risks. Develop and maintain management reporting, dashboards, and KPI tracking. Support scenario planning and what-if financial modelling for strategic decisions. Contribute to continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting. Candidate Profile Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with FP&A or commercial finance experience. Experience in manufacturing or distribution is highly desirable. Strong Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with dashboards/Power BI advantageous. Confident communicator, able to influence and build relationships across finance and operational teams. Available immediately for full-time commitment for the duration of the contract.
