Marketing manager

Findrs Recruitment
Marketing manager
Posted: 17 April
Offer description

A growing fintech business in the startup fundraising space is hiring a Marketing Manager to take ownership of its marketing function and help drive the next phase of growth.

This is an opportunity to join a company that supports early stage founders through the fundraising journey, helping them navigate SEIS and EIS and access capital more effectively. The business has built strong foundations, established real traction, and now needs a commercially minded marketer who can bring more structure, consistency and impact to its marketing efforts.

This role would suit someone who enjoys operating in a fast moving environment where they can combine strategic thinking with hands on execution. It is ideal for a marketer who wants genuine ownership, broad scope, and the chance to influence how a company builds authority, generates demand, and nurtures its pipeline.

The company already has solid marketing activity in place. There is an established monthly newsletter sent to a large audience, a regular LinkedIn content cadence, webinar activity that performs well, and external support on Google Ads. What they now need is someone more experienced who can take these foundations and turn them into a stronger, more joined up marketing engine.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for owning day to day marketing delivery while also helping shape where the function goes next. A major part of the role will involve content and thought leadership. The company works in a specialist market, so there is a real opportunity to turn internal expertise and platform insights into credible, useful content that positions the business as a trusted voice for founders. This could include articles, insight led campaigns, founder focused guides, reports based on platform data, and content that supports webinars, social channels and lead generation.

There is also a strong growth and funnel management element to the role. The business is focused on keeping its pipeline full of the right founders at the right stage, so this person will need to think carefully about how marketing activity feeds into lead generation and conversion. They will help improve how inbound leads are captured, segmented, and nurtured, particularly through email workflows and campaigns.

Another key responsibility will be working with the company’s custom built CRM. This is an especially interesting part of the role for someone who likes process, systems and optimisation. Because the CRM has been built in house, there is flexibility to shape and improve it over time. The right person will be comfortable making suggestions, identifying gaps, and helping the business get more value from its data and marketing workflows.

The role will also involve supporting campaigns around webinars, downloadable lead magnets, founder education, and selected events where there is clear ROI. This is not an events heavy position, but it does suit someone who can think across multiple channels and execute campaigns that are practical, measurable and commercially relevant.

The client is looking for a marketer who understands how to build momentum in a B2B or SME focused environment. Previous experience in startup, fintech, legal, accounting, professional services or other knowledge led sectors would all be relevant. Deep SEIS or EIS knowledge is not essential. The marketing capability is more important than direct domain experience.

They are looking for someone who can write well, manage campaigns confidently, understand funnel performance, and bring a thoughtful but practical approach to growth. This person should be comfortable working closely with senior stakeholders, extracting insight from subject matter experts, and translating that into content and campaigns that actually deliver results.

The role is fully remote and the client is open on location across the UK.

If you are a hands on marketer looking for a role with ownership, variety and the chance to make a visible impact, this could be a strong next move.
