Typical responsibilities

Essential Requirements
* Experience working with children or young people with Special Educational Needs
* (SEN)Experience may be from education, Alternative Provision, youth work, SEND, pastoral or mentoring roles.
* Strong belief in child-centred, relational education.
* Ability to adapt learning to individual needs and emotional readiness
* Calm, reflective and emotionally intelligent app
* Confidence supporting learners who are disengaged or anxious about education.
* Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice.
* Teaching qualification (QTS) or equivalent experience (not essential).
* Experience in Alternative Provision, SEMH or specialist settings.
* Knowledge of trauma-informed or therapeutic approaches.
* Confidence using digital tools to capture learning and progress.
* Outdoor learning, creative or project-based learning experience.
