The Role:
We are recruiting for a Maths & English Tutor to deliver engaging and effective Functional Skills and GCSE Maths & English lessons. This role involves supporting learners to achieve their full potential in a dynamic and inclusive learning environment. Duties:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to learners’ needs.
Assess progress and provide personalised feedback to support achievement.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Support learners with additional needs and barriers to learning.
Track learner progress and implement interventions when needed.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance teaching practices.
Adhere to safeguarding, equality, and health and safety policies.Required Skills:
Teaching qualifications and experience in Functional Skills and GCSE Maths & English.
Ability to engage and motivate learners, including those who are disengaged.
Strong organisational and classroom management skills.
Experience working in challenging learning environments.
Commitment to professional development and teamwork.
Flexibility to work across different locations.
Due to the nature of this role, you be required to complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.
