Key Account Manager - FMCG
London: 3 days in the office 2 days on-site with customers
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + 10% bonus
We’re working with a fast-growing FMCG brand that’s looking for a commercially minded Account Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the CCO, you’ll play a key role in driving sales growth across strategic retailers, marketplace platforms, and wholesale partners, while also managing relationships with field sales agencies.
The Role
As Account Manager, you’ll take ownership of promotional planning, marketplace strategy, and sales performance tracking. You’ll be responsible for ensuring products are well-positioned across retailers, quick-service delivery platforms, and wholesalers, while supporting future innovation through market and competitor insights.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and manage promotional plans for major retailers such as Tesco and H&B, working with supply and marketing teams to ensure successful delivery.
* Monitor competitor activity and provide insight to shape brand strategy and future product innovation.
* Lead the brand’s marketplace and Quick Commerce strategy, launching on new platforms and optimising performance.
* Review brand visibility and performance across websites and key channels, identifying ways to enhance sales.
* Track sales performance by SKU across retailers, identifying opportunities and trends.
* Manage relationships with UK wholesalers and field sales agencies, setting KPIs and evaluating results.
* Support P&L tracking and contribute to delivering growth across strategic retail partners.
What They’re Looking For
* Minimum of 3 years’ account management/sales experience within FMCG.
* Strong commercial acumen with excellent planning and organisational skills.
* Confident relationship builder with the ability to influence at all levels.
* A proactive self-starter with a drive to deliver results.
* Degree or equivalent qualification preferred.
