The quality assurance team are looking for a highly motivated individual to join the team to ensure the council continues to provide high quality services that achieve good outcomes for children, young people and their families living and learning in Derbyshire. We are looking specifically for someone with experience of working within youth justice and leaving care services.
To focus in particular on the department’s key priorities and to ensure that appropriate action is taken to improve services as a result of customer insight and quality assurance work.
As a quality assurance manager you should:
1. Be able to effectively embed support and challenge through a range of quality assurance activities for both practitioners and managers
2. Continuously drive improvement and ensure both practice and values across a range of children’s services to deliver positive outcomes for children, young people and their families
3. Be reflective, persistent and have excellent analytical, planning and influencing skills with a proven ability to manage and motivate a team of professionals
4. Be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England and have considerable experience of working at a managerial level within a statutory children’s services context
