We're Civica and we make software that helps deliver critical services for citizens worldwide across 5,000 public bodies. As a First Line Sales Manager for Local Government, you will lead a team that sells SaaS solutions into the Local Government sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach, and develop a team of sales professionals targeting Local Government sector customers
* Drive pipeline generation and deal progression to exceed revenue targets
* Support your team in navigating complex sales cycles and public sector procurement frameworks
* Collaborate with marketing and product teams to tailor messaging and campaigns for the education market
* Conduct regular 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and performance check-ins to set the team up for success
* Stay informed on local government policy, funding cycles, and digital transformation trends
Requirements
* Proven experience in SaaS sales management, ideally within Transport SaaS products
* Strong coaching and mentoring skills with a passion for team development
* Data-driven mindset with experience using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot)
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
