ROLE: Director of Sales
LOCATION: Northamptonshire
SALARY: £45 -47k per year plus up to 20% annual bonus, paid quarterly.
Were looking for a commercially driven Director of Sales to lead revenue growth for a well-established hotel, with a strong focus on winning new and existing corporate business and driving weekend leisure demand .
This is a hands-on role where youll actively build new business pipelines, manage key accounts and position the hotel within the local and national market. Alongside proactive sales activity, youll also play a key role in supporting and guiding the on-site reactive sales team to maximise conversion and push a more proactive culture.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Proactively target and win new corporate accounts, group business and local partnerships
Corporate Growth: Build a strong midweek base through strategic account acquisition and relationship development
Leisure & Weekend Strategy: Increase weekend occupancy through creative campaigns, partnerships and targeted promotions
Market Positioning: Identify opportunities within the local and regional market to outperform competitors
Pipeline Management: Develop and maintain a strong, conversion-focused sales pipeline
Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery from sale to execution
Commercial Strategy: Use insight, data and market trends to influence pricing, positioning and sales activity
About You:
Proven hotel sales leadership experience in a branded hotel organisation.
Strong track record in new business generation
Commercially focused, proactive and target-driven
Confident managing both proactive and reactive sales functions
Would suit a sales manager looking for career progression or a DOS who is looking for a role where you can bring your experience to build and develop others to drive sales.
