Southworth International Group, Inc. (SIGI), has an immediate opening for an experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager for our Falmouth, Maine location.
SIGI is the world’s largest manufacturer of ergonomic material handling equipment for vertical lifting and work positioning. Our products are designed to improve worker productivity while reducing the potential for worker injuries. Anywhere that workers are lifting and positioning items, handling pallets, working with parts in containers or transporting loads in a factory or warehouse, Southworth has a product to make the job faster, safer, and easier.
The PMO Manager will oversee project management efforts and directly lead projects as needed, while maintaining and clearly defining SIGI’s standards throughout the process of each project’s growth and implementation. This position will be overseeing a range of employees working on different elements of current projects throughout the business.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Develop project plans ensuring that they align with business goals
* Support, cultivate, communicate and continuously improve our company-wide project management strategy
* Set deadlines for specific tasks and track progress for each project
* Review documentation for project creation, development, and implementation
* Analyze financial data while distributing and allocating resources accurately, implementing budgets, and calculating monetary risk
* Produce financial reports and budget outlines as needed
* Lead our monthly project prioritization process and support stakeholders through the process
* Directly lead projects as needed
Qualifications – Skills and Experience
* Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience and education in a related field
* 5-7 years of experience and a successful track record of direct project management and responsibility for building company-wide project management capabilities required
* PMP certification preferred
* Solid leadership, influencing and stakeholder management skills - supervisory experience a plus
* High level of attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to meet established deadlines
* Advanced Excel, project management, and other software skills
