SkyShowtime is Europe's latest streaming service, and we are looking for a talented Commercial Analyst to join our Commercial Growth team in London.
In this role, you'll be at the heart of how the business understands and tracks performance. You'll play a key part in building and maintaining automated performance reporting and analytical outputs that are used day-to-day and facilitate information sharing across the organisation. Working closely with stakeholders across almost the entire business, you'll turn data into clear insights that will support decision-making across the full customer lifecycle.
This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years' experience who is keen to build on their analytical foundations in a commercial environment while delivering high-quality analysis that genuinely influences business performance. You'll have the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of how a D2C business operates end-to-end, with endless opportunities to take on new challenges and different projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Performance Reporting: Deliver and monitor recurring performance reports and dashboards to track key trading metrics and share them with the business, ensuring consistent and high-quality outputs.
* Analytical Frameworks & Templates: Build and maintain analytical templates to support commercial decision making across acquisition, retention, and in-life performance.
* Insight & Trend Analysis: Conduct structured analysis to identify trends, variances, and underlying performance drivers across markets and customer segments.
* Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across the business to deliver data, insights, visualisations, and actionable recommendations.
What You'll Bring
* Ideally 1-2 years' experience in commercial, trading, analytical, or data-focused roles within a D2C subscription-based business or the media industry.
* Analytical mindset and experience with Excel, comfortable working with data to identify trends and insights.
* Strong communication skills, capable of summarising analysis and clearly presenting findings.
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
* Must be fluent in English with excellent oral and writing skills. Additional European language capabilities are advantageous.
Where You'll Work
* We operate a flexible hybrid working model, with the team working from the office 2 days per week. To maximise the benefits of team collaboration we aim to be in the office on Tuesdays & Thursdays but offering flexibility is a core value of our team and business.
* Your primary base will be in Osterley, on the Sky campus, a 10-minute walk from Syon Lane train station. Free shuttle buses are available, running to and from Osterley, Chiswick Park, Gunnersbury, Acton Town and Ealing Broadway tube stations. On-site parking, bike shelters and showers/changing facilities are also available.
* You can benefit from all the on-site facilities at the Sky campus including subsidised restaurants, Waitrose, gym, cinema, car wash, hair & beauty salon.
