You’ll be the go-to person for everything from database design and SQL development to infrastructure management, security, and user support. Just as importantly, you’ll influence how data is used across the business - helping people work smarter, make better decisions, and deliver results. If you’ve worked in manufacturing, logistics, or another high-pressure environment, you’ll know the demands: quick thinking, practical solutions, and the ability to keep systems moving without slowing down production. That’s exactly what we need here. What You’ll Do Lead and shape the company’s IT function, setting direction while staying hands-on day to day. Design, implement, and maintain SQL databases - using SSIS/SSRS to manage reporting, integrations, and data flow. Oversee IT infrastructure, including virtual servers, storage, and firewalls. Support and develop business-critical systems across production, CRM, and logistics. Champion data accuracy and system security, ensuring compliance with ISO27001 and best practice standards. Create disaster recovery and business continuity plans that are practical and robust. Solve problems quickly and resourcefully in a fast-moving SME environment. Mentor and support a small IT team while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the business. What We’re Looking For Strong SQL background with experience in database engineering, data analysis, or system integration. Experience in a manufacturing, logistics, or factory-style setting. Proven ability to deliver IT projects, improve workflows, and make data-led decisions. Solid understanding of IT security and ISO27001 compliance.
