Recognized and registered EITB or CITB (or equivalent) craft apprenticeship, along with an HNC/ONC/BTEC Building and Engineering Services (Plumbing) or City & Guilds 596 Advanced Craft Certificate in Sanitary Plumbing and Installation & Maintenance of Domestic Heating Systems & Appliances, or equivalent qualification. In special circumstances, equivalent experience and training may be considered.
The post involves acting as a fully trained and certificated Maintenance Plumber to provide plumbing services, including installation, modification, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems across NHS properties, ensuring safety and operational efficiency.
Participation in an out-of-hours on-call rota is required. You must achieve the mandatory Inductions standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and adhere to the Code of Conduct throughout employment.
