Monday - Friday, 09:00-17:00
Days of work are negotiable, flexi time is applicable, and starting and finishing times are flexible.

This post is being advertised as a fixed term post. The successful candidate will be a key contributor to East Lothian Works, the council's employability service, and will work across our schools and post-school teams. The post holder will develop strong relationships with council colleagues in Procurement, Connected Communities and with a range of external employers.
The role will focus on Community Benefits in Procurement which is crucial within East Lothian Works. The role will negotiate added value from council contracts through our internal procurement team and with our external partner organisation Hub South East, negotiating a range of work experience opportunities, job opportunities, training and learning opportunities, equipment and materials for both school and all age adults post school employability provision.
The individual will be solution focussed, proactive, and have a passion for delivering innovative employability provision. They will have experience in identifying and realising opportunities, be organised, be an effective communicator and facilitator, with the ability to negotiate in challenging situations. The successful candidate will work at pace and manage a variety of competing priorities. We are seeking applications from individuals who have a proven and successful track record within a sales environment.
