Senior Public Health Engineer – Building Services Waterloo, London Permanent | Hybrid Working Available We are working with a well-established, forward-thinking Building Services consultancy based in Waterloo, who are looking to add a Senior Public Health Engineer to their growing multidisciplinary team. In this role, you will lead the design and delivery of Public Health systems across a diverse portfolio of projects, including commercial, education, healthcare, high-end residential, and mixed-use developments. You’ll collaborate closely with MEP engineers, architects, and clients, playing a key part in innovative and sustainable design solutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design of public health systems including above and below ground drainage, domestic water services, and rainwater harvesting. Develop design calculations, technical specifications, and detailed drawings. Ensure compliance with UK building regulations, sustainability standards, and best practices. Provide mentorship and support to junior engineers. Attend project meetings, coordinate with wider design teams and manage client relationships. Requirements: Degree qualified in Building Services Engineering or relevant discipline. Minimum 5 years’ experience in public health design within a consultancy environment. Strong working knowledge of UK codes and regulations (BS EN, Water Regulations, Building Regs Part G & H). Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit (beneficial), and calculation software.
