LD – SUPPORT WORKER – HAMPSHIRE Due to high demand, we are looking for dedicated and experienced Advanced Level Learning Disabilities Support Workers to assist vulnerable adults with varying levels of learning disabilities. These roles are available in Bournemouth. Key Responsibilities: Provide support to vulnerable adults with learning disabilities, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met. Assist in managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive outcomes. Work in various settings, including residential homes, day services, and supported living environments. Engage with individuals using a consistent, patient, and empathetic approach while maintaining safe boundaries. Shift Patterns: We offer flexible shift patterns that can be tailored to your preferences, including: Monday to Sunday shifts Early shifts, late shifts, long days, and waking nights or sleep-ins You can choose how much or how little you work, allowing you to balance work with other commitments. Continuity is essential in these roles, and many of our current staff value the flexibility we offer. Requirements: Extensive experience in supporting adults with learning disabilities and managing challenging behaviours. A Team Teach qualification or equivalent is required, due to the diverse and challenging nature of the individuals you will be supporting.
