Full-Time | Permanent About the Opportunity We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrician to join a well-established and forward-thinking engineering team within a busy industrial manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Respond promptly to electrical faults and breakdowns to minimise downtime and maintain safe plant operation Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with electrical safety regulations and site procedures Ensure all electrical work complies with statutory requirements and relevant standards Install, maintain and upgrade site lighting systems, including energy-efficiency improvements Support mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations for production, facilities and improvement projects Test, inspect and certify electrical installations (where qualified) Maintain accurate maintenance and compliance records Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and site upgrades Work in accordance with health and safety policies, promoting a strong safety culture Skills & Experience Experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment Knowledge of mechanical and electrical (M&E) installations Experience with lighting installations and upgrade projects Familiarity with planned preventative maintenance systems Strong safety-focused mindset Excellent fault-finding and problem-solving skills Ability to remain calm and effective under pressure Reliable, accountable and able to work independently Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across teams Good time management and organisational skills High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Proactive attitude and willingness to contribute to continuous improvement Qualifications Essential: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent recognised qualification) City & Guilds 2382 - 18th Edition Wiring Regulations Desirable: City & Guilds 2391 (or equivalent) - Inspection, Testing and Certification
