Finance Assistant/ Bookkeeper required Permanent Hybrid after probation (2 days in office/3 from home) Near Huntingdon £26,000 *Do you have experience of VAT returns? Our client, a delightful business near Huntingdon, is looking for a full time Bookkeeper to join their business due to company growth! This is a great opportunity for a permanent role working with a company which provides stability and a great working environment. The job will turn hybrid after probation, with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office. Your duties will include: Managing the bookkeeping needs of a portfolio of clients Posting/processing of sales and purchase invoices Bank reconciliations VAT returns Answering ad hoc client queries - dealing with clients via email, phone, face-to-face Working closely with the accounts team to ensure accurate reporting You will need the following skills and experience to be suitable: Bookkeeping knowledge - essentially VAT returns and purchase ledger/sales ledger Experience using Xero & Sage bookkeeping platforms - training can be given where there are gaps in knowledge Experience managing a portfolio of clients preferable, or the ability to work quickly and adapt to new requirements High attention to detail Please apply to the role here.
