Assistant Sales Manager
Jewson Major Build Solutions, specialists in providing solutions and building materials for customers in the national house building industry, are expanding their team. We’re looking for an Assistant Sales Manager who’s as passionate about great service as we are.
Working Hours: Monday-Friday 7:45 am‑4:45 pm – office based.
Location: Sales office is based in Lytham St Anne.
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting developing strategies to promote Major Build Solutions products and services
* Training and motivating sales team – 3 staff in our regional sales office
* Collaborating with customers to identify their needs and improve results
* Establishing best practices and ensuring compliance with industry regulations
* Performing market research and collecting customer feedback to improve service delivery
* Evaluating performances, coaching, motivating and supporting the Sales team
* Maintaining cordial relationships with suppliers and customers in the region with a key focus on account management
* Ability to work and adhere to customer call‑off schedules
Required Skills And Experience
* Proven experience at a management level within the Builders Merchant industry – at least 3 years
* Commercially astute with ability to grasp and translate the business strategy into clear, achievable people objectives, with a ‘customer first’ focus
* Demonstrable experience in partnering with stakeholders at all levels
* Digital mindset and IT literate with the ability to use data to influence, challenge and support the delivery of operational/functional plans
* A driving licence would be beneficial for this role
