Salary: £45,000 - 45,000 per year Requirements: We require candidates to possess the following: Experience in designing, installing, configuring, and managing on-premise network infrastructure, including layer 2 and 3 switching and routing. Experience managing network security hardware and software, including firewalls and network intrusion detection systems. Familiarity with network hardware and software, particularly Cisco and Meraki solutions. An in-depth understanding of data center network architectures, ICT disaster recovery strategies, and LAN/WLAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/MPLS/SD-Access networking technologies. Responsibilities: In this role, I will expect you to: Implement network security measures, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and access control lists. Maintain the network architecture, including Cisco routers and switches and Cisco ASA/Firepower firewalls, while troubleshooting any issues that arise. Manage Meraki firewalls and SD-WAN appliances. Assist with maintaining Cisco AnyConnect VPN, NAM, and ISE. Help with the implementation and maintenance of a Cisco ACI network. Manage the performance of major routing protocols such as EIGRP and OSPF. Conduct network capacity planning and support the rollout of upgrades and improvements across LAN/WLAN/WAN/Wi-Fi/MPLS/SD-Access and Data Centre.
