People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Forklift Driver – Builders Merchant to join our well-established client based in Chessington. This is a great opportunity to join a stable and supportive business offering long-term security, consistent overtime, and a varied role within a busy merchant-style warehouse environment.
Shifts
• Monday to Friday • 8:30am – 5:00pm
Salary
• £25,510 per annum • Opportunity to work 5 hours per week overtime paid at time and a half

Day-to-Day Duties
As a Forklift Driver – Builders Merchant, your duties will include (but are not limited to):
• Operating a counterbalance forklift truck safely • Loading and unloading vehicles • Picking and preparing customer orders • Working with a variety of building materials • Manual handling of products • Supporting goods in and goods out operations • Keeping the warehouse clean and organised • Assisting customers and colleagues when required
Essential Skills
To be successful as a Forklift Driver – Builders Merchant, you will need:
• Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence • Previous builders merchant or building materials experience • Comfortable with manual handling • Good reliability and work ethic • Ability to work effectively within a team • Strong attention to detail
