Service Advisor – Chester

A busy Volkswagen Retail Centre in Chester is looking for a friendly and professional Service Advisor to join their aftersales team. You will be the main point of contact for customers while their vehicles are being maintained or repaired, ensuring exceptional service and clear communication.

Key Responsibilities:
4. Welcome and engage customers professionally throughout their visit
5. Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle repairs
6. Schedule vehicle appointments efficiently and manage workshop workflow
7. Conduct pre-appointment calls to confirm bookings and address customer queries
8. Promote additional services and repairs recommended by technicians
9. Maintain accurate customer records and update systems
10. Build strong relationships with customers and colleagues, providing a trusted service experience
Requirements:
11. Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach
12. Previous experience in a service advisor or customer-facing automotive position
13. Ability to identify customer needs and upsell where appropriate
14. Strong time management and ability to work under pressure
15. Experience in a target-driven environment is advantageous
16. Full UK driving licence
