Hello, I'm Owen, Recruitment Manager for Randolph Hill Nursing Homes Group.
We're seeking an outstanding Activities Co-Ordinator for Fidra House Nursing Home in North Berwick. The role is full-time, 40 hours per week, including alternate weekends.

Job Purpose:
* Plan, organise, and implement meaningful weekly activities, considering resident preferences and needs.
Main Responsibilities:
* Design activities tailored to residents' abilities
* Engage residents individually or in groups for activity planning
* Gather feedback from residents and families
* Coordinate with management on activity planning and budgeting
* Communicate plans with nursing staff and record activities
* Involve carers with resident activities where appropriate
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
* At least 1 year's experience in a creative or activity planning role
* Experience organizing group activities, preferably with elderly populations
* Strong communication and organisational skills
* Knowledge of the local community
* Ability to uphold residents' rights
* Experience with activities suitable for elderly residents
