Hourly Paid Teacher in Computing – Colchester Institute
Colchester Institute is seeking dynamic, motivated, and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as an Hourly Paid Teacher in Computing. We are committed to delivering high-quality education and supporting learners to achieve their potential.
Responsibilities
* Deliver inspirational lessons across Computing and IT subjects (Level 2-3).
* Design creative and effective learning plans that bring the subject to life.
* Create and assess high-quality resources and coursework.
* Provide individual guidance and feedback to learners.
Essential Qualifications
* A degree in Computing or an IT-related subject.
* At least a Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
* Teaching qualification or willingness to achieve one in post.
Essential Experience
* Significant industry status or evidence of industrial updating.
* Experience of managing and motivating young learners.
* Recent teaching experience within further and/or higher education, especially BTEC.
