Job Title: HR Business Partner
Location: Birmingham, B10 area
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum (depending on experience)
A growing manufacturing business in Birmingham are looking for a well-rounded HR Business Partner to join the team. Reporting to the Group HR Director, you’ll be managing the day to day HR operations with a key focus on OD & ER. This is a hands on role within an SME environment.
Role Purpose:
To deliver full generalist HR support across the business. You’ll be hands-on, working directly with staff and managers, ensuring HR policy, employee relations, and processes run smoothly, legally and efficiently. This role demands someone proactive, organised, and experienced enough to take ownership of multiple HR tasks without needing constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding/offboarding processes.
2. Provide advice and support on employment law, policies, performance management, disciplinary/grievance/capability processes.
3. Maintain accurate HR records, employee files, and HRIS systems.
4. Support line managers in coaching, performance reviews, absence management, and staff development.
