Key Responsibilities
Purchasing & Supply Chain Coordination
* Source, negotiate, and purchase goods and services in line with company requirements.
* Maintain optimal stock levels through proactive inventory management.
* Coordinate with suppliers and logistics to ensure on‑time deliveries.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
* Ensure supplier performance and quality standards are met.
* Review and manage contracts, ensuring compliance with terms and budget.
Cost Control & Documentation
* Monitor pricing, cost trends, and supplier competitiveness.
* Maintain procurement records and update the purchasing system.
* Assist in budget forecasting and cost reporting.
* Identify and implement process improvements in procurement operations.
* Support sustainability initiatives through responsible sourcing.
* Collaborate with production, finance, and other departments for seamless operations.
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in a procurement or purchasing role.
* Knowledge of supply chain management and purchasing best practices.
* Strong negotiation and communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software.
* Excellent organisational and time management abilities.
* CIPS qualification (or working towards) is advantageous.
* Ability to work independently and with cross‑functional teams.
