Role
* Trade Counter Assistant / Driver
* Hours: 44 per Week – Permanent role, 7am – 4:30pm, Monday to Friday, 8am – 12pm on a Saturday rota
* Salary: £27,936 basic per year
* Bonus/OTE: Realistic total earning potential of up to £31,536 per year
* Base: Site Based

What Our Trade Counter Assistants Do
* Hands-on role supporting the Branch Manager and Branch Supervisor in day-to-day branch operations
* Trade counter sales to achieve targets; communicate product knowledge effectively to customers
* Provide exceptional customer service to new and existing customers
* Picking, loading and delivering products to customers via Eurocell vehicles
* Route planning, safe driving and keeping the Company vehicle clean
* Support the Branch Manager with actions and activities on time, in full
* Compliance with Health and Safety, company policies and procedures
* Ensure excellence in customer service, operational standards and branch sales targets
* Support delivery of sales targets while developing and maintaining positive customer relationships
* Assist with the delivery of branch operations; provide support to colleagues as required
* Maintain branch standards, including warehouse and stock management, front of house cleanliness and point of sale
What We Need From Our Trade Counter Assistants
* Passion and energy to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve business targets
* Hands-on, customer-focused approach; confident to serve customers and engage with potential future customers
* Commercial mindset to drive sales and maximise margins while ensuring customers are satisfied
* Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and use initiative
* Confident IT user with experience of MS Office and industry software (e.g., SAP)
* Full and valid driving license is essential; FLT licence could be advantageous
* Stock take experience could be advantageous
* Comfortable working in a small team and, on occasion, alone
* Experience in a trade/builders merchant/retail, glazing or uPVC environment could be advantageous
