Pupil Support Worker (Enhanced Support Base)

Salary: £25,322 - £27,727 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks
We are looking for a Pupil Support Worker to join the team in our Enhanced Support Base.
The ESB is a specialised provision attended by children with autism and other complex needs. It comprises two classes with eight pupils each, supported by two class teachers, two EYPs, and three Pupil Support Workers. The successful candidate will work across both classes.
We seek someone experienced in supporting children with additional support needs, who is enthusiastic, reliable, self-motivated, understanding, and patient, to support our young people in a nurturing learning environment. Being a strong team player and reflective practitioner is essential.
This position is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will need to join the PVG Scheme or undergo an update check. If you have spent over 3 months outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. Employment is contingent upon satisfactory pre-employment checks.
