Network Operations Specialist (Previous Relevant Experience is Required), Lincoln
This role at Telent offers an opportunity to join our Engineering Team, working on critical infrastructure projects that connect and protect the nation's networks. As a NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician, you will provide administrative support to the engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and KPIs. The position involves working on a 24/7 shift rota.
Responsibilities:
1. Handle incoming calls and emails, responding in accordance with KPIs.
2. Create and manage network incident tickets based on customer reports.
3. Action Service Requests and allocate tickets to support teams and service providers.
4. Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
5. Coordinate traffic management activities with providers, control teams, and field resources.
6. Communicate with customers regarding network incidents.
7. Coordinate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:
Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.
Key Requirements:
* Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
* Strong communication skills for liaising at all levels.
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
