Warehouse Stock Controller Hertford £26,500 – £28,500 Temp to Perm Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm About the Role We are recruiting for a Warehouse Stock Controller to join a busy and creative business specialising in print, branded merchandise, and fulfilment services. This is a hands-on role where you will manage stock levels, maintain accurate inventory records, and support smooth warehouse operations. This is a temp to perm opportunity offering long-term potential for the right person. This role may also suit someone with experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Controller, Warehouse Coordinator, Goods In Operative, Warehouse Administrator, Fulfilment Operative, Stores Person, or Logistics Assistant. What You’ll Do • Maintain accurate stock records across print, merchandise, and warehouse supplies • Carry out stock checks and inventory counts • Manage goods in and check deliveries • Track loan items and equipment • Allocate stock for outgoing orders and maintain pick locations • Resolve stock discrepancies and update records • Support warehouse organisation and stock control processes • Use inventory systems and Excel to manage stock and reporting What We’re Looking For • Previous stock control, warehouse, inventory, or fulfilment experience • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel and inventory systems • Strong attention to detail and good organisation skills • A proactive and reliable approach • Good communication and teamwork skills • Physically fit and comfortable in a warehouse environment • Forklift licence helpful but not essential Who Might Suit This Role This role could suit someone from print, fulfilment, logistics, warehousing, e-commerce, manufacturing, or distribution.
