Responsibilities Lead play-based sessions that develop communication, physical and personal skills. Observe children’s learning, keep learning records and use evidence to inform planning. Support families, lead transition activities and work with the Reception team to ensure continuity. Manage daily routines, safeguarding procedures and collaborative planning with colleagues. Contribute to the school’s wider EYFS strategy and improvement priorities. Person specification Relevant early-years qualifications and experience leading nursery provision. Strong assessment, observation and planning skills. Warm, organised and responsive practitioner ready to start January 2026. Comfortable working in Watford and engaging with the local community.
