PE Global is recruiting a Site Manager for our renewable energy client based in Norwich. The role is an initial 9-month contract and the rate for this role is £415 per day, inside of IR35.

This role requires the successful candidate to be National Grid authorized with substation experience.
Responsibilities:
* Plan and coordinate on-site installation/construction activities.
* Supervise internal teams and subcontractors.
* Ensure work meets contract specs, quality, schedule, and HSE standards.
* Enforce safety policies and stop unsafe work when needed.
* Manage site logistics, materials, and equipment handling.
* Control site costs and petty cash within delegated limits.
* Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation.
* Act as site point of contact for clients and stakeholders.
* Lead, support, and develop on-site staff.
Requirements:
* Proven site supervision experience in construction/installation (e.g. mechanical, electrical).
* Strong knowledge of HSE practices and enforcement.
* Skilled in planning, coordination, and contractor management.
* Cost control and documentation handling experience.
* Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to manage logistics, site facilities, and purchasing within limits.
