Responsibilities
* Assist with daily housework such as ironing, bathroom and kitchen cleaning, and garden tasks.
* Provide support for community outings including visits to events, shopping, church, and food-related activities.
* Ensure personal safety and mobility support, including traveling with a stick.
* Help with knitting by reading patterns for the client.
Qualifications
* Valid driver’s licence and basic insurance.
* Independent, proactive, and encouraging to support the client’s activities.
* Comfortable working in a home with a cat, hamster, and fish.
* Respectful of privacy and confidentiality when working in another person’s home.
* Reliable and punctual.
* Experience or confidence working with mental health is a bonus.
Working Hours
4 hours per week, flexible scheduling.
Compensation
£14.50 per hour, paid four‑weekly upon submission of a payslip.
Additional Information
A National Insurance number is required, and an initial six‑month trial period will be introduced. The position is subject to an enhanced DBS (police) check, and training may be required if identified by the employer.
