Senior Commercial Manager – Roles and Responsibilities
* Lead the commercial management of multiple industrial and logistics projects from pre-construction through to final account.
* Oversee cost planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting across projects valued £20m–£150m.
* Manage and mentor commercial teams, ensuring best practice and consistency across projects.
* Negotiate and administer contracts, including subcontractor procurement and commercial agreements.
* Manage risk, value engineering, variations, and change control to protect project margins.
* Work closely with project directors, construction teams, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
* Proven experience as a Senior Commercial Manager or Commercial Manager with a main contractor.
* Strong background in industrial and/or logistics construction projects.
* Experience managing large-scale projects valued £20m+.
* Excellent contractual knowledge (e.g. JCT / NEC).
* Strong leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
* Happy to travel nationally to projects when required.
* £105,000 - £125,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.
