Job Description
1. Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, sequencing, and monitoring progress.
2. Oversee the deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient utilization and timely completion of tasks.
3. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, adherence to plans, and compliance with safety regulations.
4. Lead and motivate on-site personnel, including subcontractors, foremen, and laborers, to ensure productivity and adherence to project goals.
5. Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
6. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and excellence in performance.
7. Enforce safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents and injuries.
8. Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to educate workers on safety best practices and address safety concerns.
9. Investigate incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

The Successful Applicant
10. Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
11. Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
12. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
13. Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
14. Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents.
15. Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
16. Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
17. OSHA certification and other relevant credentials preferred.
