Early Years Assistant - fixed term until 16/10/2026. Davidson's Mains Primary School Nursery.
Salary: £25,905 - £26,111 (pro-rata for part time). Hours: 18 per week, 52 weeks.
About the nursery
Our nursery delivers Early Learning and Childcare to children from 2-5 years old, both in term time and over the school holidays. Our current nursery improvement plan includes developing our outdoor provision to deliver quality experiences and spaces to learn and develop and exploring the concept of Slow Pedagogy to benefit our young learners. Role details
The hours will be worked 52 weeks across Wed-Fri between the hours of 7.45am-6.00pm on a shift rotation.
Pre-employment checks
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
