The successful Injection Moulding Setter will be responsible for machine setting, process optimisation and troubleshooting to ensure the efficient production of high-quality plastic components across a range of injection moulding machines. Key Responsibilities - Injection Moulding Setter Set and operate injection moulding machines including Demag, Arburg, Krauss Maffei and Billion. Carry out mould changes and machine start-ups to meet production requirements. Optimise processing parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, cooling times) to improve cycle times and part quality. Diagnose and resolve machine and process faults to minimise downtime. Conduct quality inspections to ensure components meet specification. Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of moulds, injection units and auxiliary equipment. Work closely with maintenance and engineering teams to improve performance and reliability. Maintain accurate documentation of machine settings, production runs and tooling changes. Ensure adherence to all health, safety and housekeeping standards.
