Do you want to play a key role in improving accessible transport services for communities across Lancashire? We’re looking for a Service Development Manager to help drive service improvement, consistency and efficiency within our Integrated Transport Services. This is a high‑impact role where your leadership, analytical skills and sector knowledge will help ensure safe, effective and value‑for‑money passenger transport services that make a real difference to people’s lives.
Responsibilities
* Driving service development and continuous improvement across Accessible and Integrated Transport services.
* Supporting area and team managers to embed consistent, high‑quality working practices and robust processes.
* Analysing performance data and reporting insights to senior leaders, helping shape informed decision‑making.
* Overseeing quality assurance activity and ensuring compliance with legislation, guidance and best practice.
* Building strong relationships across teams and partner organisations to deliver effective, joined‑up solutions.
Qualifications
* Significant experience in managing or leading services within a passenger or accessible transport environment.
* Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive service improvement.
* A good working knowledge of passenger transport legislation, quality standards and performance management.
* Excellent communication and influencing skills, with confidence engaging at all levels of an organisation.
* A proactive, values‑driven leader who can motivate others and manage complex priorities effectively.
