About the role
Booker.co.uk is the UK's fastest-growing B2B wholesale website, accounting for about 30% of Booker Group's sales. The IS Web team manages infrastructure and application software for Booker Group websites and apps, including Booker.co.uk and various consumer-facing sites. The team collaborates closely with the Booker Digital team to ensure a seamless online experience for customers.
The Technical Business Analyst in the IS department is responsible for delivering secure, efficient digital systems to enhance customer satisfaction and profitability. The role is part of the Web projects team, focusing on delivering projects and updates for our websites and apps. The ideal candidate will have experience with digital systems and web technology in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment, and will be enthusiastic about system enhancements, bug analysis, data analysis, and solving complex issues.
Responsibilities
* Coordinate with external technology suppliers.
* Collaborate with Booker IS colleagues across systems.
* Work with Tesco Technology colleagues.
* Support IS Service Desk operations.
* Engage with customers and internal business teams.
* Partner with the Booker Digital team.
Requirements
* Previous experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
* Practical knowledge of web technologies like HTML, XML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript.
* Experience managing integrated e-commerce platforms (e.g., Sitecore Experience Commerce), including Apps and modern web technologies.
* Experience with APIs management and development.
* Knowledge of system performance tools such as Datadog (desirable).
* Strong data analysis, database management, and system integration skills.
* Experience with testing and issue tracking tools like Jira.
* Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, BigQuery, and ContentSquare.
* Proven project management skills within agile frameworks, delivering on time, budget, and quality.
* Experience with SDLC methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
* Effective people management skills and ability to work with internal and external teams.
* Service management experience, troubleshooting, and support skills.
