Water Hygiene Technician Responsibilities:
1. The monitoring inspections will involve temperature testing of water outlets, TMVs, inspection of cold water storage tanks and hot water storage vessels, water sample collection, showerhead disinfection, and logbook auditing.
2. Undertake monitoring and maintenance of building water services as part of a Legionella Control Program in accordance with ACoP L8 and HSG 274.
3. The inspections will be undertaken using a PDA and web-based electronic logbook system.
4. Undertake other water hygiene related tasks as required, including Monitoring, Maintenance, and Remediation works.
5. The role will involve working in a multi-site capacity; therefore, travel throughout the region is required.
About You
Essential Criteria:
* Relevant experience in a similar role.
* Ability to pass a DBS check.
* Current Full UK Driver's Licence.
Desirable Criteria:
* Experience in water system remediation/maintenance works.
* City & Guilds or similar accredited Legionella control training.
* Knowledge of legislation and guidance such as HSC ACoP L8, HSG 274, Water Regulations.
* Experience in maintenance, servicing, and testing of Chemical Water Treatment services.
