AC Hotel Cambridge, a Colwen Hotels property is seeking an engaging, friendly, and detailed oriented Food & Beverage Manager to join our team. In this role you will be responsible for coordinating, supervising, and directing all property food and beverage operations, while controlling costs and driving guest and associate satisfaction.

General Responsibilities:
1. Oversee, coordinate, supervise and direct all property food and beverage operations
2. Control food and beverage cost while driving guest satisfaction
3. Work closely with sales teams and Hotel General Managers at assigned hotel
4. Recruit, interview and hire food and beverage staff associates for assigned hotel
5. Train and support all food and beverage associates and ensure performance in accordance with established hotel brand/Colwen standards
6. Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules and budgets
7. Ensure sequence of service standards are met
8. Strict adherence to all applicable food and beverage standards
9. Develop menus with other members of food and beverage team
10. Ongoing communication with staff through regular departmental meetings (document agenda and attendance)
11. Pre shift meetings daily or as needed
12. Ensure staff is up to date with information related to drinks, specials, wines, beers etc.
13. Audit for efficient operation of bar and cost controls
14. Monitor liquor sales and product mix
15. Educate and maintain proper controls with bartenders
16. Abide by all state, local and municipal laws and regulations pertaining to liquor and food safety
17. Maintain proper inventory controls and order supplies
18. Receive, check and document all food and beverage deliveries
19. Perform accurate cash-out procedure at shift end
20. Evaluate market trends and ideas for liquor specials and presentation
21. Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
22. 2 years food and beverage management experience (hotel experience preferred)
23. Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
24. Reliable with the ability to multi-task and work under pressure
25. T.I.P.S. and ServSafe certification (within 30 days if certification is expired)
26. Strong Leader of people
27. Excellent verbal and written communications skills
28. Familiar with common computer software programs, ability to operate POS system
29. Must be willing to work 7-day rotating work schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
