Qualifications
Essential Desirable Registered with General Pharmaceutical Council (GPHC) Verifier Award (IQA) either D34, V1 or equivalent Recognised pharmacy technician qualification Verifier Award (IQA) either D34, V1 or equivalent (or be willing to obtain within 2 years of appointment) BTEC level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science (or equivalent) NVQ level 3 in Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent Accredited checking qualification and registration with the Northwest framework (equivalent to NVQ level 4) Assessor qualification - D32/32, A1 or equivalent English, Maths, and Science at Level 2 (GCSE A* to C or equivalent)
Experience
Essential Desirable Currently practising a minimum of 15 per week as a Pharmacy Technician Delivery of NVQ in the workplace or college environment Recent experience of teaching in an FE/HE environment
Knowledge & Skills
Essential Desirable Working knowledge of NVQ processes Working on marketing and customer related tasks The ability to travel to apprentice's workplaces Full driving licence Good interpersonal and communication skills Suitable character for working with children and vulnerable adults Comprehensive current technical knowledge and skills commensurate with the vocational context of this role Good knowledge of health and safety at work in an educational and vocational environment
