The Building Coordinator role is key for linking Building Management, Facilities Management and Front of House duties together. The Building Coordinator will be based in the Building Management Office, supporting the Senior Building Manager and Operations Manager with all aspects of running the property. They will also support the Maintenance Coordinator with administrative duties and holiday cover, as well as being a prominent figure on Front of House to provide ad-hoc reception cover and driving Occupier engagement.
Note: Candidate will need to undertake a security clearance application in order to complete this role.
Main Duties
* Compliance both Statutory and mandatory. Management of folders and ensure all compliance documentation is stored on the correct platforms.
* Contractor management, ensuring contractors are booked in and working safely, ensuring SSOWs and Risk assessments are reviewed and followed.
* Responding to client and end user day to day queries.
* Health and safety, ensuring all visitors, clients, MITIE staff are all working in a safe environment. Using health and safety platforms to report.
* Log and monitor work orders with internal and external service desk teams.
* Attendance of project meetings.
* Partake with an active role in building crisis management and emergency procedures.
* Working alongside building management, front of house, cleaning and maintenance teams.
* Cover of front of house duties as and when required.
* Cover for engineering coordinator during holiday periods.
What we are looking for
* Candidate will have proven and strong administrative skills 'highly organised and able to work in a ever changing environment'
* A confident manner with good verbal and written communication skills showing the ability to communicate with all levels.
* Able to demonstrate a proactive manner and an ability to problem solve.
* Strong attention to details and accuracy in all work outputs.
* IOSH qualification desirable.
* 5 Year checkable work history.
Please note: the successful candidate will be required to undergo Security Clearance to be able to undertake this role. To complete this, applicants will be required to have at least 5 years of checkable work history and an in-date British Passport with at least 6 months left on it.
