Vacancy - Clerical Assistant Level 2 Salary: Grade 3, SCP 4, £13.05 per hour, FTE Annual Salary £25,185 Actual Salary : £21,870 Hours: 37 hours per week Contract type: Full Time, Permanent, Term time plus six inset days. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and dedicated Clerical Assistant to join our school. The successful candidate will require the ability to prioritise and manage a frequently changing workload, possess good organisational skills, develop good working relationships with the Administration team, and will be a responsible and reliable individual. Key responsibilities: Provide routine clerical/administrative support e.g. photocopying, filing, emailing, completing routine forms, responding to routine correspondence. Assist with managing the school’s email inbox. Maintain manual and computerised records/management information systems. Produce lists/information/data as required, e.g. pupil data. Undertake more complex typing, word-processing and other IT based tasks. Produce, collate, and distribute agendas, reports, and documentation for meetings. Take notes at meetings, including meetings of the Governing Body. Produce minutes of the meetings, including meetings of the Governing Body. Organise and distribute incoming and outgoing post. Undertake routine administrative procedures e.g. transport arrangements, catering arrangements, interview arrangements. Maintain and collate pupil reports. Undertake routine administration of school lettings and other uses of school premises. Operate relevant equipment/computer applications (e.g. Word, Excel, databases, spreadsheets, Internet). Maintain stock and supplies, cataloguing and distributing as required. Provide general advice and guidance to staff, pupils, and others. Undertake routine financial administration e.g. processing orders, receipt, recording and banking of monies due to the school. Basic first aid.
