We are currently seeking an interim Administration Assistant to work with our global FMCG client Unilever, renowned for brands such as Dove, Sure, Persil, and Simple. This role offers an opportunity to become an integral part of their fast-paced FMCG environment.
The position is based at our client's scientific Research & Development facility in Port Sunlight Village, Wirral, easily accessible by train and car. It is a part-time temporary role until the end of September 2025, requiring 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday. The compensation is competitive, up to £13.30 per hour, depending on experience.
PLEASE NOTE: Due to the urgency of the role, we are unable to accept applications with longer than a 2-week notice period.

Job Purpose
The Operational Excellence Team supports the Port Sunlight R&D scientific and engineering community by delivering optimized processes and workflow efficiencies. The Admin Assistant will ensure the team is organized and that daily tasks are completed efficiently, supporting various administrative duties and taking on additional tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate will have a strong administration background to support the operational efficiency of R&D facilities in Port Sunlight and Liverpool.
Objectives of this Role
* Providing administrative support, including raising orders in the internal system (Coupa).
* Tracking orders and deliveries, maintaining accurate records.
* Liaising with third-party suppliers for quotes and delivery updates.
* Maintaining stock lists and checking stock suitability.
* Highlighting cost-saving opportunities.
* Responding to inquiries and requests for information.
* Occasionally supporting laboratory activities, e.g., filling dispensers (no lab experience required).
* Labeling and filling orders.
* Performing other administrative duties as required.
Requirements
* Strong administrative and organizational skills.
* Excellent time management abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
* Ability to work independently.
* Positive, can-do attitude and team support enthusiasm.
* Part-time availability, ideally five days per week, with some flexibility.
