The position
The Marketing Manager – UK & Ireland will lead the Marketing team at Alfasigma. You will be responsible for co-developing and implementing the marketing strategy and tactics for Jyseleca with many more indications to come.
The role will report to the Commercial Director and manage two Brand Managers, working collaboratively with global and country-level Commercial, Market Access and Medical colleagues. Together, this position will ensure seamless launch execution, in line with brand strategy and our UK & Ireland goals.
Your role
* Help evolve the UK & Ireland marketing function from a single product with multiple indications in Inflammation to a multi-product organisation.
* Lead, support and guide the Brand Managers as they evolve their careers.
* Demonstrate strong marketing functional competence as well as strong analytical capabilities and sound, broader strategic business judgment.
* Develop a deep understanding of the local market through deep market analysis in all customers and accounts, driving insights to develop and deliver innovate marketing initiatives.
* Collaborate with the Sales and Commercial Insights to successfully implement and manage our Go-To-Market activities.
* Together with the commercial team drive product strategy, tactics and sales; ensure excellent communication within the commercial team.
* Utilise a multi-channel approach to drive class-leading engagement, through the best use of the HQ omnichannel services and local capabilities.
* Combine customer insights & CRM data with omnichannel capabilities to create best in class customer journeys, which drive conversion and business impact.
* Actively engage healthcare professionals and other key stakeholders to organise and implement activities and local projects.
* Monitor and analyse market and competitor reports together with customer insights, identifying opportunities, risks and gaps, to provide appropriate response recommendations to the organisation.
* Co-develop and implement annual brand plans through cross-functional collaboration, aligned with customer and market insights. Identify opportunities for business growth and competitive advantage.
* Ensure all strategies and tactics comply with all internal/external regulations and standards.
Qualifications:
Our ideal candidate has an advanced scientific degree and a strong knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry or related healthcare field. The candidate needs to have relevant experience as Marketeer, preferably with some management experience.
Other requirements
* Strong experience in pharmaceutical/biotech marketing.
* Ideally you are working in Inflammation (Rheumatology or IBD) or rare diseases.
* Experience of preparing for product launch preferred.
* Confident in working across the full marketing mix.
* Evidence of successful implementation through digital channels
* Experience in co-development of marketing plans that have a proven track record of positive business results.
* Good knowledge of local regulatory, medical and compliance processes
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Flexible thinking and ability to continuously innovate.
* Comfortable with ambiguity
