Position: Deputy Manager at Jesmond Care Home
This is a full-time role, 40 hours per week, with a competitive pay rate of £25.15 per hour.
As Deputy Manager, you will assist in managing the Home’s operations to meet or exceed targets while ensuring high-quality care. You will manage staff, take over full management in the absence of the Home Manager, and support staff training and supervision.
Responsibilities include assisting with resident admissions, maintaining care plans and records, and liaising with relatives and external agencies.
Qualifications required include:
* NMC registration (required)
* SVQ 4 Management qualification or willingness to work towards it
Experience in a similar role for at least one year is preferred. Consideration will be given to those with SSSC registration and relevant experience, with a pay rate of £18.58 per hour for non-clinical deputies.
