About the Team:
We have a exciting opportunity within our Adult Safeguarding Team for an administrator post.
The Safeguarding Adults Team works to protect and support adults with care and support needs, ensuring they are safe and treated with dignity. The team works closely with partner agencies, including health services and the police, to respond to safeguarding concerns and achieve positive outcomes.
Operating in a busy and supportive environment, the team is committed to person-centred practice, partnership working, and delivering high-quality services in line with statutory responsibilities.
About the Role:
As an Administrator within the Safeguarding Adults Team, you will provide essential administrative support to ensure the smooth running of a busy and fast-paced service. This includes managing referrals, maintaining accurate records, coordinating meetings, and supporting communication with internal teams and partner agencies.
You will play a key role in supporting safeguarding processes by handling information sensitively and efficiently. The role requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise tasks effectively, and work well under pressure within a supportive team environment.
Key Requirements:
1. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high levels of accuracy
2. Good communication skills, both written and verbal
3. Ability to manage pressure and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
4. Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing demands
5. Experience of accurate record keeping and maintaining confidential information
6. Experience of minuting meetings and coordinating administrative processes
7. Provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative support service to operational teams, using a variety of mainstream and specialist software i.e. word, excel, financial and social care databases and systems.
