Key Responsibilities

As a Mortgage Administrator, your duties will include:

• Efficient and accurate Mortgage Application Processing, ensuring all documents meet compliance and regulatory standards.

• Acting as a key point of Client Communication, updating applicants, lenders, solicitors, and estate agents on case progress.

• Full Document Management, organising client files, financial documents, correspondence and case notes with precision.

• Providing essential Administrative Support, including telephone handling, email management, appointment scheduling and general office admin.

• Ensuring Compliance Adherence by following FCA guidelines, company policies and mortgage industry best practices.

This part-time Mortgage Admin role requires someone confident managing a varied workload and able to deliver excellent service across all touchpoints.

Essential Skills & Experience

Applications are welcomed from candidates who can demonstrate:

• Previous experience as a Mortgage Administrator, Mortgage Admin assistant, or similar financial services administrative role.

• Strong organisation and time-management capabilities.

• Exceptional levels of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team environment.

Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of mortgage terminology, processes and lender requirements.

• Experience using mortgage software or CRM systems (e.g., Twenty7Tec, IRESS, Mortgage Brain).

• Previous experience working within an independent broker environment.
