Cartec@wigston require a Technician / Mot Tester. Immediate start for the right candidate. Monday to Friday 08:30 – 17:00. Salary from £35.00 to £45.000 depending on experience. We have a fantastic new job opportunity available for a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester in South Wigston. We are an independent family run garage with an excellent reputation in and around the local area. The Role
* Perform routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide variety of makes and models.
* Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using modern diagnostic equipment.
* Carry out major repairs, including clutch replacements, cambelts, and suspension work.
* Prepare vehicles for MOTs and rectify faults.
* Ensure the workshop is kept clean, safe, and organized.
What We’re Looking For
* NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
* Qualified MOT tester.
* Proven experience as a Motor Mechanic in a fast-paced workshop.
* Strong diagnostic skills and familiarity with modern automotive technology.
* A full, clean UK driving licence.
* A team player with a strong work ethic.
