Job Title: Water Hygiene Engineer Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire Salary/Benefits: £26k - £35k Training & Benefits A leading name within the Water Hygiene / Legionella industry is recruiting for a reliable and experienced Water Hygiene Engineer. They are ideally seeking someone in Yorkshire with good access to the East Midlands region, as you will be covering sites along the M1 corridor. The ideal candidate will have a diverse skillset and will be able to hit the ground running upon joining the company. You will be joining a highly respected outfit, who can implement excellent further training and development for hardworking individuals. Salaries and benefits packages are competitive. Experience / Qualifications: * Experience working as a Water Hygiene Engineer within a well-established outfit * Good understanding of HSG 274 and ACOP L8 guidelines * Flexible to travel in line with company needs * Strong literacy, numeracy and IT skill level * Hardworking attitude * Good communication skills The Role: * Undertaking a wide variety of pre-planned ACOP L8 compliance duties * Showerhead and outlet descales * TMV servicing * Flushing on little used outlets * Inspections, cleans and disinfections on cold water storage tanks * Cleans and disinfections on cooling towers * Water sampling and temperature monitoring * Representing the company in a professional manner * Updating logbooks and service reports Alternative job titles: Water Treatment Engineer, Legionella Operative, Water Hygiene Technician, Environmental Service Technician, Water Management Engineer.
